Refund Policy

Last updated 24 June 2026

We want you to feel confident buying from GulfVIN. This policy explains when credits and reports can be refunded. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Digital credits and reports

GulfVIN sells credits that unlock vehicle history reports. Because a report reveals licensed third-party data the moment it is unlocked, a credit that has been used to unlock a report is generally non-refundable.

2. Unused credits

If you have bought credits and not yet used them, you can request a refund of the unused credits within 14 days of purchase. We refund to your original payment method, in AED, and the refunded credits are removed from your account.

3. When we will refund or re-credit a used report

If something goes wrong on our side, we will make it right. You are entitled to a refund or a replacement credit if a report failed to generate after a credit was deducted, if you were charged but received no report, or if a report was clearly corrupted or unreadable due to a technical fault.

Contact us within 14 days of the issue and we will investigate and resolve it.

4. What is not a fault

A report that correctly returns "no records found" is a valid result, not an error, and is not on its own grounds for a refund. Our reports cover US and Canadian records, so a GCC-spec vehicle that was never registered in North America may legitimately have no records. We explain this clearly before you unlock a report.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@gulfvin.com from your account email address with your payment reference and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within a few business days.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended.
