Terms of Service

GulfVIN is an online information service that helps buyers in the Gulf check a vehicle's history before purchase. We surface vehicle records sourced from licensed third-party data providers covering the United States and Canada, including auction, title, salvage, odometer and recall records.

GulfVIN is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, official vehicle registry, manufacturer, auction house, or insurer.

You can run a free basic check without an account. To buy credits or unlock a full report you sign in with your email address using a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, as anyone with access to it can sign in to your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases.

Full reports are paid for using credits. One credit unlocks one full vehicle history report for a single VIN. Prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Credits do not expire and are tied to your account. They are not transferable and have no cash value except as set out in our Refund Policy.

Once you unlock a report for a VIN, you may view that report again at any time from your account at no additional cost.

You agree to use GulfVIN only to check vehicles for your own genuine purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, or build a competing database from our reports, and you may not access the service through automated means or attempt to bypass rate limits or security controls.

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, attempt fraud, or issue payment chargebacks without first contacting us.

Vehicle records come from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors that are outside our control. Our reports cover US and Canadian records. A vehicle that was never registered in North America, including GCC-spec cars, may have no records on file, which on its own does not mean the vehicle is clean.

Reports are provided for guidance only and are not a substitute for a physical inspection. You should always carry out your own due diligence and have any vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic before purchase. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GulfVIN is not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on a report, from any inaccuracy or omission in the underlying data, or from any purchase decision you make. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the report or credits giving rise to the claim.

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
